Thanks for contacting me. You're the first person I've heard from on this site that knew me.
I would be interested in seeing the photos you have. I also took some photos and posted them in an album on Facebook. Most were taken in 73 and are from CSC, particularly Recon. Do take a look. The link is at the bottom of this comment.
Yes, I remember those guys from mortar platoon. They were right next to us in the barracks. Able lived not far from here in Saluda, SC. Weedon came by to see me in the late 70's trying to sell something.
I correspond with a couple guys from our platoon via email but that's all. It's kind of sad to have lived in such close quarters with those guys for almost three years and then never see them again. But that's life.
I am also well but old.
