I was sent to serve as an emergency replacement Arty FO fron 3/82 Arty 196 th BDe to B Compny In Oct- Nov.  I replace the FO who was KIA along with the B CO and Bde Chaplin by an IED in the NDP. on 10/13. I spent 2-3 weeks with B going thru back to back monsoons and losing several men to IEDs in the 3rd platoon including the platoon leader.

Does anyone remember his name? He was medevaced with a sucking chest wound. I’d like to know if he survived.
