Jim Ballinger's Page

My name is Jim Ballinger. I grew up in Anderson Ca. I joined the Army in January of 1980 and did basic at FT. Knox Kentucky. I was the last cycle of infantry to go through FT. Knox. I them went to FT. Benning for AIT. After That i went to Germany. When i got to Bamburg i was in Bravo Company. The whole unit was in the field at the time and one outher guy was there just returning from leave. I don't remember his name but he broke this nubie in. He brought back a bottle of Mexical and we drank the whole thing. I Don't remember the rest of the weekend. After about 2 mounths i was made the CO's driver and that lasted about a month before i was pulled over to S-2 to be a Jeep driver there. During my time in Germany i was in B company HHC company twice and D company. I even drove for the Battalion Sergent Major for about 6 monthes.
I remember partying it up real hard at Le Marquies and Mout Kellers down town. Anyone who remembers me knows that i DJ'd and bounced at those two places for Mr and Mrs B.
I now live in Westminster CO with my wife. I have 3 stepkids and 5 Grandkids. I'm a Quality assurance administraitor for Best buy at the warehouse in Denver an have been there for 5 years.
I would sure like to see you guys and do some reminicing and thanks to Bill for reaching out and finding so many people.
