Through 28 years of Army service, I have never attained the same feeling of camaraderie, purpose and esprit de corps (and just plain enjoyment) as I did as 4.2 PLT LDR in 7/6 Inf. A few times, I came close (2/82 ABN in OIF) but never matched or surpassed. There was just something very special about 4.2 platoon in the Zoo.

Very well said, though I've changed MOS's nothing can match the team and mortar platoon gathers. I miss it.
