    Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. No I am not SSG. Vance. He was my platoon sergeant for a while at headquarters company. He is my cousin though. I don't know if I should admit that or not. He's a good guy just kind of goofy. I've had major comp. problems and got a whole new system, so I'm wading my way through tons of E- mail.     Regards to all @ home!!!  Quick run down.  After Bamberg, went to Drill Sgt schl, did 2 yrs, went to Jump school at 32, was a cadre at OCS for a yr, spent 2 yrs at the School of the Americas in Tactics and Special Opns (Abn), did a yr in Korea, then to Ft. Drum, finishing up 22 yrs.  Got a Masters in Education, taught 1st, 4th, and 2nd grades.  Now I substitute and Scuba Dive.  Going to The Bahamas in 2 wks on a Blackbeard Liveaboard, and then Cozumel in June and then back to the Bahamas on the Aquacat, also a liveaboard.  Have trained in Ninjutsu and now Krav Maga, so I stay a "little busy".  How is life treating you?

    You mentioned Sgt Draper, I met him on an exercise @ Ft. Bragg.  Went there from Ft. Drum to the biggest airborne exercise since WW2, 82nd, 101st, British Paras, SAS, Gurkhas, and other special types.  Met Draper as an SF NCO in the field, as always, one sharp soldier.
