    Legend of Ansbach... That's funny! Hey, remember the twins we went to boot camp with, then went to Germany? I remember them getting busted for trying to bring drugs back from Amsterdam. One of them was in C Company, just can't remember the name. Remember the Seven Up Club? It's still the Seven Up Club! Also, If you go to google earth, you can bring up Bamberg and see how the base has changed. It has really had a face lift, but much still the same.

    I think you are right... Murphy rings a bell! There were so many places to hit over there in Bamberg (Freak City) you never got bored, at least I didn't! The Palm Beach was one of my favs! It's still there, just under a new name. Was Gumolak the one always getting thrown in the brig?

    There was another guy we went to boot camp with, BIG guy... He went to Bamgerg also and was a regular vistor to the Brig! He was real goofy dude and was a target throughout boot camp with the DI's!

    Big Mouth O'Kelly, LOL!! I remember him for sure, he was with us on the town in Ansbach also, like you would forget that! Yeah, I been looking for that B-9-2 book online. There are a few sites that carry those old grad books from basic, just have not seen ours pop up yet.

    Hey there Pruitt. And yes, I do remember you. Although I must admit, If it wasn't for the picture of you in the barracks there, I probably wouldn't have remembered you. You were more so like a cat, quiet, and low key. That's a nice picture of you and your lady. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank you for helping put this site together. This has been an awesome experience for me.As far as that friend of mine, do you remember his name?? I'm going to post some pictures of me now , within the next couple of days. Do you remember a guy named Joe fleming? He's over in Dallas. I'm going to hook him up when I get back ove that way. Well, it's been nice hearing from you, and we must keep in tough weekly. I'm a truck driver, so eventually I'll be back out the in "SHAKEY".

    I'm trying to filter through this old head of mind, and come up with a name. Was it a guy named SSG Mark Sewell, out of Atlanta, Ga. If so, I've been trying to run into him. I frequent Atlanta, every now and then. I have two daughters, and three grandkids that live there. Kick that name around, and let me know if that ring a bell.

    Ok, so now that we established that, how do I go about trying to locate him. Knowing Mark, there was no place in the world like Atlanta, Ga. But then again, you know a woman can make you change that direction. I'm quite sure he's in the ATL. I don't have no other onformation on him other than that. You guys are making me use parts of my brain that I had just about forgotten about. Where is Lovett at?

    Bob, I received your note and was very glad to hear everything worked out for you.As an NCO you have to help open doors for your good soldiers, and you were a very good soldier. I'm sorry that I didn't take the time to tell you and all the others in the company what a great job everyone had done before I left.I will make up for that in Vegas.     Yeah, this is SSg Vargas from the ol' 2plt along w/ SSG Morris and Wilson, SGt Mountain, SGT Vila, Spc Hadorn and the rest.  After Bamberg, became a Drill Sgt, went to Jump school, became an OCS cadre, later an instructor @ the School of the Americas on jump status, went to Korea, and did my final tour for 22 years @ Ft. Drum.  Moved to Columbus, GA, became a school teacher, a shinobi and scuba diver, also trained in Krav Maga.  Now I substitute teach, continue w/ KM and travel abroad on scuba trips.  You?
