Arrived early in January 1985 to HHC and was adopted into the Scout Platoon. First few weeks in Germany were spotty as the Alcohol was a new addition to my life (at the time)

Left Germany and got back to Civilian life in July of 1987.

And for those who think the "Cold War" was just a nice title for the era, they've obviously never been in West Germany during the winters..... OMFG!
