Drinking a beer made for 300 years!

The age of everything in Bamberg and in Germany is one of the things that struck me as well.  I can still remember sitting down at a guest house and drinking a beer that they had been brewing for 300 years, and the USA for not even 200 years old in 1971.  Just blew my mind.  But I fell in love with the old buildings and the history (excluding 1933-1945).

I was part of Headquarters Company 1/52 when they organized and activated the Combat Support Company.  The idea was to to take all the combat support platoons in HHQ and make them a new company which could be assigned to run assignments on their own, but mostly to be used to support the Infantry Companies in the battalion.  I was in the Anti-tank (TOW-missile) platoon).
