I only did CQ about three time on my two years there. The last time I remember pulling CQ I did as a favor to my buddy Michael Grady so he could visit his girlfriend near Lichtenfels. He was killed coming back for duty the next morning, he fell asleep at the wheel and lost control. Not a good day.

I was in Aco. from 76-80 2nd Plt and HQ's.  I retired and am now living/working in Japan.  Would like to bull shit about the old days when things were so simple.

Oscar,my name is Ken Davis and i was in Bamberg from 79-81, and i remember that patch like it was yesterday,just left a mess on my old team ldr page Robert  L Roberts,talking about pulling CQ with him,i left in 81 going to FT Ord Ca,came back to Germany in 83 was in south,Garldstadt,up by Bremen!!!

This was the CQ patch for Alpha Co, I brought it home went I left Bamberg. I wonder how many of you guys wore this for CQ duty?
