As to Benning, you know that now it is "The Maneuver Center For Excellence" this place has grown. If you have not been here lately, well, there's now the Armor School here, new and bigger PX down the hill across form the old one, there's a new hospital being built, the old barracks @ Harmony Church are gone, the new Infantry Museum has been up and running, pretty good down here I'll say. If you get a chance, check it out on the internet and you'll see.

You mentioned Sgt Draper, I met him on an exercise @ Ft. Bragg. Went there from Ft. Drum to the biggest airborne exercise since WW2, 82nd, 101st, British Paras, SAS, Gurkhas, and other special types. Met Draper as an SF NCO in the field, as always, one sharp soldier.
If I may ask you, what was that teaching moment you mentioned? It escapes me for now, running around my memory banks!
Greetings, Sir!
